MANAGING DIRECTORAlex oversees all engagements ensuring high quality technical accounting and financial advisory services. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed with the California Board of Accountancy and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics with Accounting Emphasis from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Alex spent the majority of his career with KPMG Los Angeles in the audit practice, as well as completing a three-year international assignment with KPMG São Paulo, Brazil.

Jordan has a particularly strong background in the implementation of ASC 326, ASC 606, and ASC 842 standards, including evaluating internal controls and disclosure processes.

She also focuses on providing insights aimed at optimizing business processes impacting financial reporting.

SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITORJennifer is a CIA with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University of San Bernardino. She has over 15 years of internal audit experience in industries such as distribution, staffing, utilities, financial services, and government. Her experience is primarily focused on SOX 404 testing, operational audits, and compliance audits. In addition, she has assisted with quarterly financial reporting, user acceptance testing, and management of SOX 302 certifications.

Today, she is the HR and Recruitment Lead for Horizon Advisors and helps with different departments like Legal and Operations. When she's not working, you'll find her cooking Korean/Filipino cuisine or enjoying boba-based drinks.
